Pupils discuss and finish their Gantt charts. Feedback to class. Completed Gantt chart as example. Consider theme park rides, features and safety criteria. Web sites with ideas: www.somecoasters.com

Pupils draw diagrams to show all the process, inputs and outputs in their idea for a ride. Log flume schematic 1 is an example.

Use Log flume schematic 2 as an example to discuss with whole class. Pupils now identify where computers might be involved in their ride.
