At the end of lesson...

Think back to when you used spreadsheets for modeling in years 7 and 8. Discuss some of these with your teacher.

Talk about variables and recalculations.

1. Using your word processor, write-up in your own words what the problem is you have to solve.

2. Load the panto model tasksheet from below and complete the tasks on the sheet.

3. You will need to load and save the panto model spreadsheet (blank) from below as well. save it into your own user space before you start to work on it.

1. Make sure you have filled-in your lesson 1 diary in your homework booklet.

2. Using your homework booklet, go to End of lesson 1 task and fill-in the INPUT, PROCESS, OUTPUT box. You should have time to diascuss this with your teacher at the end of the lesson as well.

In your word processor, explain any ways that you can think of to make your money model even better (make improvements).

If you finish this, start to make a list of today's important words and explain what they mean.

Homework: Starting to design your spreadsheet model.
In your homework booklet, do homework 1. You have recieved a memo from the drama department and you need to start designing your money model. Use the information and blank spreadsheet in your homework booklet to start figuring out what your spreadsheet will do.
