Reminder of last lesson: we used our models to develop a slotion to a problem by using formula and entering new data. - discuss briefly.

Work in groups of three to briefly discuss how you can use your spreadsheet to solve the questions you prepared for homework. Your teacher will guide you through this.

Quickly review what a goalseek is.

Using the two memos from the drama department, update your spreadsheet models.

Use Memo 3 information sheet first then use Memo 4 information sheet.

Make sure you have written-up what you have done in your project document.

Make sure you have explain how the formulas and variable help you answer questions and help you decide what price to charge for the tickes.

Discuss your progress with your teacher. You will be asked some questions so make sure you can explain what you have done.

Extension Work:
Making Graphs - Select the Making Graphs tab at the bottom of your spreadsheet. Use the data to create graphs that show the sales for each year of the pantomime. Create a graph that shows:
1. all the years on a single graph

2. 1999 only
3. 1999 and 2000
4. 1999 and 2005

Homework: Putting it all together:

You need to start to organise your project work. You will need print-outs of any work, including any annotated work you have done. You need to start thinking about what you need to go into your final report.
